I had started painting in high school with a still life of yellow roses. Nature is what inspires me the most with its natural beauty. In 2019 I began to self teach the basics of painting and portraits.
Jeremiah 17:8 was inspired by a section in the Bible that represents a tree’s roots reaching for the water in the river to overcome the hardships of a drought. The tree will still bear fruit and the woman still contains joy and peace. The woman’s hands are the main focal point because she finds trust that God will provide her water, youth, mercy, and grace. This piece brings out a hope for the future and a calming feeling.
