The Great Northern Art Explosion is a multi-day public art exhibition hosted by AuSable Artisan Village art center of Grayling, MI, in partnership with Kirtland Community College.

The mission of the Art Explosion is to showcase Grayling as an art destination, create visibility for the creative talent in Northern Michigan, and activate the downtown area by using local space and resources to host a multi-day, public art prize event during the summer.
